Sparklesconce.com Warranty Policy related to Matteo Lighting Products
Coverage and Warranty Period
Subject to the exclusions listed below, Sparklesconce.com warrants that:
All non-LED products ("Products") will be free from defects in materials and workmanship, which cause the Products to fail to operate in accordance with their specifications, for one (1) year from the date of purchase ("Non-LED Warranty Period").
All LED Products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship, which cause the Products to fail to operate in accordance with their specifications, for:
Five (5) years for residential use (daily operation under 8 hours).
Two (2) years for commercial use (daily operation over 8 hours).
("LED Warranty Period").
Warranty coverage applies to the original purchaser only and is not transferable. Any warranty reference to the “Warranty Period” refers to the applicable Non-LED or LED Warranty Period.
Exclusions
This warranty applies only when the Products have been handled, installed, operated, and maintained as outlined in the specifications and applicable guidelines. The warranty excludes coverage for issues arising from:
External causes (e.g., acts of nature, physical damage, environmental conditions, vandalism, power surges).
Improper use, installation, maintenance, or alteration of the Products.
Failure to install Products according to Matteo Lighting’s specifications, or any applicable safety or regulatory standards.
Use of reactive cleaning agents or harsh chemicals.
Animal or insect activity, vibrations, or oscillations beyond the Product's design tolerances.
Failures resulting from third-party components or modifications.
The warranty is void if the Products are used for purposes other than their intended application or if unauthorized repairs or alterations are made.
Remedies
If a Product fails within the Warranty Period, Sparklesconce.com, at its discretion, will:
Repair the defective Product.
Replace it with a similar or equivalent Product.
Issue store credit for future purchases.
Sparklesconce.com reserves the right to use new, refurbished, or reconditioned parts or Products for any repair or replacement. Replacement or repair does not extend the original Warranty Period.
Warranty Claims Process
To make a claim, the purchaser must notify Sparklesconce.com in writing at support@sparklesconce.com within thirty (30) days of discovering the defect. Claims must include proof of purchase, and the defective Product may need to be returned for inspection. Return shipments require a return materials authorization (RMA), obtainable from Sparklesconce.com customer support by emailing returns@sparklesconce.com.
The purchaser is responsible for the cost of shipping the defective Product to Matteo Lighting. Sparklesconce.com will cover the cost of shipping any replacement Products. Labor, removal, and reinstallation costs are not covered.
Limitation of Liability
Sparklesconce.com’s total liability is limited to the original purchase price of the defective Product. Sparklesconce.com is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, downtime costs, or costs associated with replacement equipment.
Right to Modify or Discontinue Warranty
Sparklesconce.com reserves the right to modify or discontinue this warranty policy at any time without prior notice. Changes will apply only to Products purchased after the effective date of the modification.
